Kelly and Laura are leading this 2-day clinic is designed for paddlers looking to take their basic sea kayaking skills to the next level. On day 1, we will review fundamental strokes and safety in Horseshoe Cove before heading out to the Yellow Bluff tide race. Once at the tide race, you will have the opportunity to learn and practice fundamental paddling techniques used in current, including peel outs, eddy catching, and ferry gliding. For those who are interested, playing in the rough water and waves of the tide race, will be supported and encouraged!
